Starting from New Mal, the trek takes you to the Yelbong Campsite, where you’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and the tranquil sounds of the Ramati River. Highlights of the trek include a visit to the Yelbong River Canyon Cave, a 3.5 km trek offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys. The trek is beginner-friendly, with easy-to-navigate paths and relaxing breaks along the way.
Best experienced in the cooler months, the trek offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty, vibrant local culture, and immersive experiences. Enjoy a memorable night at the campsite, complete with bonfires, barbecues, and good company.

Day 1 : New mal to Yelbong Campsite
- New mal to to Yelbong around 50 kilometers It’s take approximately 3-4 hours After reaching Yellbong Campsite on the first day, we will trek along the Ramati River and have lunch at the camp, evening there will be chats, bonfires, and barbecues and have dinner. Then rest.
Day 2 : Yelbong Campsite to New mal
- On the second day, we will wake up early in the morning and do the Yellbong River Canyon
Cave trek (3.5 km). Then, we will return and have lunch before heading towards New Mal Junction.
