The highlight of the trek is Brahmatal Lake, believed to be the meditation site of Lord Brahma, which adds a mystical layer to the journey. The frozen lakes, including the nearby Bekaltal Lake, provide spectacular photographic opportunities .With an easy to moderate difficulty level, the Brahmatal Trek is suitable for trekkers of all levels. Its well-marked trails and gradual ascents ensure that even first-time trekkers can comfortably reach the summit at 12,250 feet. The trek also offers unique opportunities for stargazing, with minimal light pollution providing a crystal-clear view of the Milky Way over snow-capped peaks. The best time to visit is from December to March, when the entire region is blanketed in snow, transforming it into a winter wonderland.
