The Dayara Bugyal trek, often referred to as a "nature lover's paradise," offers a perfect mix of adventure, scenic beauty, and cultural charm, making it an ideal choice for beginners. Located in Uttarakhand, this trek is famous for its vast alpine meadows, framed by majestic Himalayan peaks like Bandarpoonch and Black Peak.
Starting from the quaint village of Raithal, the trek features highlights such as Barnala Tal, a tranquil high-altitude lake surrounded by forests, and the sprawling Dayara Bugyal, one of the most beautiful meadows in India. With gradual ascents and well-marked trails, it is suitable for first-time trekkers and families.
Best experienced between December and March, the trek transforms into a snowy wonderland in winter, while summers showcase lush greenery and vibrant wildflowers. The journey offers not just stunning vistas but also the chance to connect with local traditions and immerse yourself in the serenity of nature.

Day 1 : Dehradun to Raithal Village
- Distance: 192 kms (Dehradun to Raithal)
- Duration: 8 hours
Day 2 : Raithal to Gui Campsite
- Distance: 6 kms
- Duration: 4 hours
Day 3 : Gui to Chilapada Campsite visit to Barnala Tal
- Distance: 6 kms
- Duration: 5-6 hours
Day 4 : Chilapada Campsite to Dayara top to Nayata
- Distance: 9 kms
- Duration: 5.5 hours
Day 5 : Nayata to Raithal and Drive to Dehradun
- Distance: 4 kms + 192 kms
- Duration: 3.5 hours trek + 8 hours drive
