The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, renowned for its stunning views and cultural richness, offers the perfect combination of adventure, natural beauty, and a glimpse into local traditions. Located in the Annapurna region of Nepal, this trek is an excellent choice for beginners, families, and nature enthusiasts alike.
Starting from Pokhara, the trek features scenic highlights such as the famous Poon Hill viewpoint, where trekkers are treated to panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The journey also includes stops at charming villages like Ghorepani, Deorali, and Dobato, each offering a unique experience of local culture and hospitality.
Best experienced from September to December and March to May, the trek is accessible throughout the year, with spring offering vibrant wildflowers and autumn showcasing clear skies and crisp mountain air. The trek’s gradual ascent and well-maintained trails make it suitable for first-time trekkers, offering the perfect introduction to the wonders of the Himalayas.

Day 1 : Pokhara stay only
- After reaching Raxaul, we will leave for Pokhara. We will reach Pokhara by evening. We can
reach Pokhara together, We will only make arrangements for the night stay.
Day 2 : Pokhara to Ghorepani
- On the first day, after breakfast, we will leave Pokhara by car and go to Ghorepani,is
around 114 kilometers. It might take approximately 6-7 hours to reach Ghorepani, through the
drive you can enjoy the beautiful views as it is a scenic route. After reaching we will stay there for
the night.
Day 3 : Ghorepani to Deorali via Phoonhill
- The next day, we will wake up early morning and trek 1.5km 1-2 hours to see the
Phoonhill Top view point, then head back to Ghorepani. We will return Deorali that day and
spend the night.
Day 4 : Deorali to Dobato
- The next day, wake up early morning and We will first have a warm breakfast with a sunrise
view then start our trekking for the day. Today we will trek Deorali to Dobato ti's 4km (3-4hours)
that day and spend the night.
Day 6 : Ghandruk to Pokhara
- Today we will pack our bags and return to Pokhara from Ghandruk. We will drive from
Ghandruk to Pokhara, around 55 kilometers It’s approximately 3-4 hours to reach, In the evening,
if we wish, we will visit the nearby lake side. Which is located just 2.5 km from our homestay. Then
in the night, we will have dinner as per our wish and come back to rest. Today, dinner in Pokhara
is on our own, we are provide only stay.
