It begins at Sari village with a short hike to Deoria Tal, a peaceful alpine lake offering stunning reflections of the Chaukhamba peaks. From Chopta, the trail ascends to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and continues to Chandrashila summit (3,690m), known for its breathtaking 360-degree views of Himalayan ranges including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Kedarnath.
A separate leg of the journey leads to the Kartik Swami Temple, dedicated to Lord Kartikeya. The 3 km trek to the temple winds through dense forests and ridges, offering serene views and a spiritual atmosphere.
