The Kuari Pass trek is a thrilling blend of adventure, scenic beauty, and cultural immersion, making it a fantastic choice for nature enthusiasts and trekking lovers. Located in Uttarakhand, this trek is known for its awe-inspiring views of the Himalayan peaks, dense forests, and peaceful campsites.
Starting from Dehradun, the trek takes you through the picturesque Karchi village and continues through various campsites such as Akhrotghetta and Khullara, where trekkers can enjoy breathtaking views of peaks like Nanda Devi and Dronagiri. The trek’s highlight is reaching the Kuari Pass (3815m), offering panoramic views of some of the most famous mountains in India.
Best experienced between April and November, the trek features well-marked paths, making it accessible for both seasoned trekkers and beginners. The journey is a mix of moderate ascents and peaceful trekking, with scenic beauty at every turn.

Day 1 : Dehradun to Joshimath Karchi village
- (1875m. -6152ft.) 280 km (7-8 h.) Drive
Day 2 : Trek form Karchi to Akhrotghetta
- (2864 m. - 9396ft) 4km trek (5-6 h.)
Day 3 : Akhrotghetta to Khullara
- (3390m.-11,125ft) 2 - 3km. Trek(3km)
Day 4 : Khullara to kuwari pass and back to khullara Campsite
- (3815 m. - 12,516 ft) 8km (7-8 h)
Day 5 : khullara to Kharchi (7km)Village via guling campsite
- (4875m-6152ft)
Day 6 : Early moring drive Karchi to Dehradun.
