The Chemtaburu trek offers a perfect blend of adventure, cultural exploration, and scenic beauty, making it an ideal trek for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Located in Purulia, West Bengal, this trek takes you to the highest peak in the region, offering panoramic views and a peaceful retreat amidst nature.

Starting with a morning arrival in Jajahatu, the trek begins with a breakfast before heading towards Chemtaburu. The trek offers moderate difficulty with a mix of forest paths and steep ascents, leading to the peak where trekkers are rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. After the trek, you’ll return to camp for a restful evening filled with stories, chats, and a delicious dinner around the campfire.

Day 1

The first journey of the day is towards Jajahatu after getting off the train in the morning. After reaching there, we will have breakfast and then complete the trek to Chemtaburu, the highest peak in Purulia, on the same day. After returning, we will rest. There will be chats, stories and dinner.

Day 2

Today is the day to explore the Palash kingdom... We will leave after breakfast in the morning. We will spend some time enjoying the festival of colors and then visit Norahara Dam. After spending the sunset there, we will leave for the train back to home.

Guest house - Triple/quad/pentasharing, Camping – triple sharing.

Meals (Veg):

Day 1 Dinner to Day 2 Breakfast as per the itinerary.
Drinking water while on trek (Tap/Mountain water).

1 Versatile base camp manager handles communication and deploys extra manpower in
Emergencies.
1 Mountaineering & First aid qualified professional trek Leader.
1 Experienced high-altitude chef.
Local experienced guides (Number of guides depending on the group size).
Enough support staff.

Trek equipment:

Sleeping bag, Sleeping liners (if required), mattresses, and Utensils.
4 men all season trekker tent (triple sharing), Kitchen & Dining tent, Toilet tent.
Ropes, Helmet, Ice axe, Harness, Gaiters & crampons (if required).
